Objectives

1- Determining the general characteristics of the target teachers and assessing the digital competencies of the teachers and school administrators; analyzing the training needs of the teachers (addressing: developing and transferring pedagogical approaches, teaching and training methods and materials including work-based learning, open educational resources; innovation in VET) Digital competencies of 150 teachers, principals and school administrators of beneficiary organizations will be assessed.


2- Conducting three research activities on adaptability of VET school curriculum and equipment to VR Systems (addressing: developing and transferring pedagogical approaches, teaching and training methods and materials including work-based learning, open educational resources; innovation in VET)


3- Establishing a web platform for dissemination and networking purposes (addressing: developing and transferring pedagogical approaches, teaching and training methods and materials including work-based learning, open educational resources; sharing good practices) Three training programmes will be developed and shared through web platform and other open source platforms (MOOCs).


4- Development, design and planning of a curriculum and provision of VR content development trainings for 60 teachers; creation of the e-book on VR teaching methods for the Professional Development of VET Teachers (addressing: developing and transferring pedagogical approaches, teaching and training methods and materials including work-based learning, open educational resources; innovation in VET) 60 teachers will participate in VR training and enhanced digital competencies and had access to digital tools to develop innovative and creative curricula for their students.


5- Digitalization of the training programme (addressing: innovation in VET; sharing good practices).


6- Coaching 60 teachers to organize pilot VR classrooms for their students (at least 600 students) (addressing: developing and transferring pedagogical approaches, teaching and training methods and materials including work-based learning, sharing good practices, innovation in VET).


7- Establishment and visibility / publicity of six VR Labs (developing and transferring pedagogical approaches, teaching and training methods and materials including work-based learning, open educational resources; innovation in VET)


8- Three assessment studies for teachers’ and 3 studies for students’ progress through using the VR technology (addressing: tools for assessing and validating learning outcomes in VET). (WP4)


9- Establishing communication among private sector employers and VET institutions (addressing: developing and transferring pedagogical approaches, teaching and training methods and materials including work-based learning, sharing good practices, innovation in VET) 18 workshops with 216 participants conducted to strengthen cooperation among VET providers and private sector businesses to contribute to labor market skills matching.


10- Developing eight networks & web platforms for networking, public private partnership promotion, dissemination channels for strengthening the national ecosystem and connecting with the EU networks of VET providers and projects (addressing: tighter links between VET systems and labor market of the third countries none associated to the programme)
